Get Big or Get Out?

The conference highlight ended with a debate titled, 'Is Bigger Better?' and after 15 minutes of spirited debate and rebuttal from each side, a vote of the audience was taken. It was a resounding defeat for the big boys. The audience supported that investors wanted to see sensible accretive growth - not growth for growth's sake driven by managers who are remunerated on the size of the organization that they manage.
